Mark S. Barnes honored at Otolaryngology conference in Washington, D.C.

September 25, 2007, the National Medical Association’s Ear, Nose, and Throat Barnes Society held its annual conference in Washington, D.C. The society, named after William Harry Barnes, the United States’ first Black board certified medical specialist, honored attorney Mark S. Barnes, who is Dr. Barnes’ grandson. Attorney Barnes spoke to the society about his grandfather’s personal ideologies, endeavors, and family life.
